How Do We Intertwine Marketing And Our Lifestyle?

On the 29th of January in 2020. Before the onset of the pandemic, i got a call from a cream factory to market a product to their new gotten clients, which they needed a satisfaction. So i had an appointment with the board of management on the sales and profits they are fingered on.

I made the first call with the client who requested a more than 100 tubes. They made enquiries which was answered promptly and i was glad anticipating to meeting a new people. The specified product was not in stock, so we had to wait for the production in a request of a purchased time from the client. 

Time is a value that must be adhered in the marketing world. We are never at loss when we promise underly and deliver overly, because what we say is how we climb the steps to a greater productivity.

Some startups that are money- centric, demands a fee to be paid first which is called commitment, but from experience i disputed the fact that costumers has to pay a fine before delivery. It is an ordeal that marketing or sales are best done, when we put the clients or consumers in a position that they have to make the decision. 80% of marketing rule signifies that they possess the purchasing power. This was not the case of the cream company.

Though, i made them see from my own point of view, how it reflects on the customers mental power.

We secured the appointment, after an exhaustion of time as a result of a delayed production. We drove down to the scheduled place. Though, traffic was more like ants chasing to devour a pack of sugar. We survived through, with the appointment in view.


Sometimes, we have to keep the goal at focus to energize us into delivering what you have promise, and that is why some sales people or marketers promise overly and deliver underly, not that it is intentional but for the unforseen circumstances that emanates naturally.

We got there and went straight to the receptionist that was already aware of our coming, she floated us into a conference room, that was painted with different colors of the rainbow, and was done artistically in view of what nature represent in our heart. We were pleased with the sight and looking straight out of the conference room, there was a mini room that employees goes in to relax during their lunch times and it has so many leadership writings on the wall.

Still mesmerized with the sight, then a lady with a police officer walked in and came straight to us, requesting for our ID cards to be shown, which we did, and she pointed at the cream company's employee to be held in custody. I was still shocked because When we talked, she sounded happily that the product was to be delivered with freebies.

I heard her other side of the story that she was dupped by delivering a fake product by the cream company, and when another customer made a purchase through them, then it was time for a pay back.

Though we have resolved it after, before they exchanged pleasantries. This focus a question in our heart; Do i deliver what i say?.

Integrity is the every day song which we recites in our head but do not correlate with our heart. The world is clamouring for integrity, so be it to save the world and make it a happier place.
