”In 1863, president Abraham Lincoln realized in early summer that he had two challenges; establishing control over the Army and recapturing public opinion. With this realization, Lincoln made some bold choices. First, he got rid of some old belief that no longer worked. And second, he started leading in a completely new way. He was able to lead because he had an open mind and a determined heart".

Mr. Barack Obama, and former president of United States of America. He had a disguised fortune of taking office during a recession so it was a good platform to implement his campaign promises, and after a while the economy began to recover.

These are two outstanding leaders that faced challenges, and they saw the positive side in gaining victory against all odds. They created a pathway for other leaders too. These are the 7 outstanding dos' of a leader during challenges.

Be Calm. Being whole in the inner self is the gateway to deciphering what could lead to the uprise of a challenge, and a tackle in building a more positive productivity. When we are calm, we often find the solution that is embedded in our inner self.

A Quest Of Knowledge. When we go through challenges, the question of knowledge should be birthed because in every challenge, there is a way out and it is often hidden in the knowledge to surpass it. Knowledge is power. Ignorance invites the challenge back, even when we have surpassed it. Ignorance precedes repetition until it is learned.

Accept Responsibility. The world is an endless place, where 80% of people wants to dish out their responsibility to the remaining 20% of people. Though, it is unbalanced. If we accept our responsibility, we can move mountain of ignorance which poses a challenge, away from our life to a distant.

Face The Challenge. Dare boldly to be different by facing the challenge headlong, because it sharpens our leadership skills and builds on our experience. No venture No success. We have to be fully armed with a specific knowledge in the areas, where we are envisaging an impending challenge.

Have A Superior Mentality. The reason why most people do not win when we face challenges, is because they often feel an inferiority complex, which they ought to defeat. Mentality precedes victory. We exhibit our thought outwardly. And, challenges are temporal when you possess a superior mentality.

Be Transparent. When challenges are posing as a stronghold to our leadership, what is expected of us from our followers is the iota of transparency. Many a leader often felt that when they expose a challenge to their followers, they will be gripped by fear. Fortunately, they want our sincerity. Sincerity births hope.

Declare Your Victory. Having done all, this is the last step that is needed to be taken. Declaring your victory over those challenges births the hope that  it is temporal, and there is always light at the end of a tunnel. Proclaiming triumph, often births the loyalty of our followers.
